Imagine designing a giant office tower that produces its own electricity or uses very little water. As an Architect at AECOM, you create the maps for these 'smart' buildings. You help build the cities of the future where nature and technology live together.
Core Tasks
- Design architectural plans for large-scale urban infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with environmental engineers to implement green building technologies.
- Oversee construction phases to ensure designs are followed precisely.
- Use BIM (Building Information Modeling) software to create 3D digital twins of structures.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $105,000 - $150,000. Benefits include health insurance, professional license reimbursement, and generous vacation time.
Requirements
Professional degree in Architecture and state licensure. A strong portfolio focusing on sustainable or large-scale projects is required.
