The Role: Designing the Digital Cockpit
When you sit inside a modern electric truck, the screen is just as important as the steering wheel. As a UX Designer, you design how that screen looks and works. Think of it like designing a video game that helps you drive a real car. You make sure the buttons are easy to touch, the maps are easy to read, and the car feels 'smart' and friendly to the driver.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes and interactive prototypes for in-car displays.
- Conduct user testing to see how drivers interact with our software.
- Work with engineers to ensure your designs are technically possible.
- Maintain a consistent 'look and feel' across all Rivian digital platforms.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000. Benefits include equity in the company (RSUs), 401(k) match, and a dedicated 'adventure' stipend for outdoor gear.
Requirements
A strong portfolio of digital design work. Experience with Figma or Sketch is a must. We value designers who care about the planet and love building beautiful, functional things.
